Yeah, er... Being a show for children is no excuse. Have you ever watched Gargoyles? Or Beast Wars? Those are for kids, and they're fantastic.
Yes but I barely remember them because when you're like 7 story isn't of the biggest concern...


Also a lot more characters than just Beastboy wee developed, remember Cyborg joins that villain academy thing for a while? He struggles with being different and they offer him the option to be cloaked as a real human not a cyborg.
He had tons of development there.

And yeah being a show for children show is an excuse you can't judge it by adult standards if it's not even for adults.
Might as well go give Ed Edd n Eddy a bad review because it has no adult humour, story or sophisticated writing...doesn't really make sense.

You can rate them by adult standards if you want but that doesn't make them bad shows. If it was intended to be for adults but was filled with dull fart and "your mom" jokes then fair enough.
